New Arts & Crafts Club
We are setting up an Arts and Crafts Club for people with learning disabilities at Cross Corners Community Arts Centre on a Monday from 10-12.30. There is no transport; the sessions are led by a professional artist. There is a charge to te sessions which of course can be paid for by Personal Budgets. Living With…
Living With…..About 5 years ago we published a book caled Living With…a collection of 34 articles written by disabled people about living with a particular medical condition. This was not a medical text book but the experiences of disabeld people (experts by experience). There were a lot of great comments about the book. We are looking to publish a second volume in the next 9 months. We are looking for disabled people who want to write about their experiences which they would be happy to see in print.
