Volunteer Outreach Worker
This role is part time for 16 hours a week and salary grade NJC Point 16 pro-rata. The role involves supervising a team of established volunteers, as well as actively trying to recruit new volunteers in to posts across mosaic to support our services. This will involve keeping accurate and up to date records, ensuring health and safety and training requirements are met for the services. You will work closely with the Administrative Assistant about customer booking for services to ensure that volunteers are in place to be able to support services.
Post: Group Facilitator – Full time – 1 year post – Temporary possibly leading to permanent for the right candidate.
The role involves working flexibly throughout the week, leading several groups as a Group Facilitator. You will be helping to provide activity groups for adults with a wide range of disabilities. You will work closely with other Facilitators, the Administrative Assistant and be managed by the Team Manager. You will be responsible for the organisation, planning and day to day running of the groups, including liaising with other professionals, such as transport providers, social workers, SALT etc as well as building professional working relationships with customer’s families and carers. The role will also involve, doing invoicing and monitoring for your groups as required by the Administrative Assistant, maintaining up to date records and files and other work requested.
The individual will need to be: focused, a problem solver, a team player, caring, a good communicator at all levels, efficient, reliable and trustworthy, understanding, able to manage and supervise other staff, professional, dedicated, calm under pressure, follow instruction and many more.
The post will be full time Group Facilitator, Monday to Fridays 9am-5pm.
Bank Staff (Group Assistants)
The Cre8ing Opportunities service at mosaic requires Bank Staff (Group Assistants) to support our customers at a range of groups. This vacancy will be for all year around, including hours in school/ college holidays.
The groups are based in the City and the County, so the ability to travel to different groups and work flexibly is essential. We provide adult activity groups to a wide customer base, most groups run Monday – Friday 9.30am – 3.30pm.
ColtonCare urgently require Community Assistants, hours to suit, to support people in the community in Leicester and surrounding area. Competative rate apply. Experience isn’t essential as training will be provided. Looking for applicants who can drive; good mileage rate paid. Non-drivers may also apply.
